Generating leads is one of the most important aspects of any business.
With the new lead generation features you can now capture user's information and send it to a CRM automatically.
Lead Generation as a whole is a 3-Phase process.
Phase 1
- Admin defines a webhook URL to send lead data to
- User submits their email on contact form prior to chat session starting
- The user's email is sent to the webhook URL
Step 1 - Create a New Chatbot
Step 2 - Under Advanced Settings there is a new section "Enable Outgoing Lead Collection Webhook"
- When enabled this will allow you to paste in a webhook URL that you want to send data to
- example: Webhook URLs can be generated inside your CRM or Zapier,
Step 3 - Paste in your "Inbound Webhook"
- This will be where the lead data is being sent to.
Step 4 - Test Webhook
- Ensure a positive connection by using the pre-built test function to send dummy data over immediately.
Step 5 - Save Your Chatbot
- Now when someone submits their email address on the contact form, this webhook will automatically receive that information.
Phase 2 (coming soon)
- Admin can create a fully custom form to ask the user any questions like name, email, phone number, favorite color, gross household income etc.
- User submits their info on the contact form prior to the chat session starting
- The user's email and all corresponding data is sent to the webhook URL
Phase 3 (coming soon)
- Admin can train the chatbot to ask the user for certain information during the chat
- User starts the chat without submitting their info and begins chatting with the AI bot
- The AI bot will ask questions like "What is your email" and the user can respond in the conversation
- The system will then pull those data fields out of the conversation, attribute them to the fields you have set and then send all of that information to the corresponding webhook URL.
