Stripe Flow 1 - Selling Monthly Subscriptions Directly

Modified on Tue, 1 Aug, 2023 at 12:59 AM

TL;DR - Users go to your Stripe link to to purchase immediately, without a free trial.

How it works for your customers:

From your homepage, or any location of your choice, your clients can simply click a link which redirects them to the corresponding Stripe product in your account.

Here, they can seamlessly purchase the subscription package best suited to their needs.

Upon successful purchase, clients are redirected back to your white-labeled Stammer.ai dashboard (app.yourdomain.com).

They can immediately see the chatbots and message credits available to them, based on the subscription package they've chosen.

How it works for your agency:

Simultaneously, a new sub-account and user account are automatically created for your client, with chatbots and message credits allocated from your available pool.

You will also receive a 'payment received' notification from Stripe.

This automatic allocation and notification system ensures smooth onboarding of your new client, while also keeping you updated on transactions.

You can then setup onboarding calls, email notifications and other flows based on how your agency operates.

Applicable for Account Levels: Professional, Agency

Step 1: Connect your Stripe account

Step 2: Create your Subscription products

Step 3: Copy the Stripe links of your new subscription products and paste onto your website

Step 4: Users go to your website

Step 5: Users click on the Stripe links for one of your subscription products

Step 6: When a user purchases, a new sub-account will be created and chatbots/ message credits will be allocated to the new user's account automatically.

(Optional Pro-Tip) Step 7: Create a new Zapier automation with the trigger of a new Stripe subscription to send you a notification in Slack and route the new user's email into your CRM to immediately follow up with your support documentation, or onboarding meeting links etc.

This process will allow you to showcase a fully automated "SaaS" offer to your clients.

FAQ:

Q: Where do these chatbots and message credits come from?

A: When a new sub-account is created the chatbots and message credits allocated are deducted from your agency pool of available chatbots and credits.

Q: What if I have 0 available chatbots/ credits?

A: You can purchase more chatbots manually or setup auto re-billing to ensure your account always has enough available chatbots and credits.

Q: What happens if a user tries to sign up and I have no available chatbots and auto re-billing is not enabled?

A: The user will receive an error notification saying that the agency has been notified. And you (the agency) will receive an email with the user's email telling you that they are trying to purchase an account from you.
