The base system prompt is the core information that you can enter to customize and train the A.I. chatbot to act in specific ways.
This information is always used to generate the response based on the user’s question + the information in the knowledge base + base level prompt.
The cool part is you can customize the Base System Prompt to match the goals of your specific niche and customers.
For example: GreenWaterLabs.com has a lot of customers who own different sized aquariums and are often asking how many bottles they need to purchase for their given tank size. With the base system prompt, we were able to add in the phrase “Answer any math questions to the best of your ability.” and the A.I. bot was immediately able to calculate how many bottles a customer should purchased based on the total size of their aquarium.
