Training Your AI Chatbot with Stammer.ai (Fine-Tuning)

Modified on Fri, 30 Jun, 2023 at 1:23 PM

Follow these steps to train your chatbot with Stammer.ai's white label dashboard:

Step 1: Log into your Stammer.ai account and navigate to the dashboard.

Step 2: Click on "Create a New Chatbot" and fill in the requisite details.

Step 3: In the "Base System Prompt" section, input your desired behavioral guidelines. Be concise but explicit about how you want your bot to interact with users.

The Base System Prompt is how you “fine-tune'“ your AI chatbot to perform in certain ways. For example if you create a new chatbot and then train it on your website data and start by asking it a math question, it won’t be able to answer you.

However, if you update the Base System Prompt to include “Answer math questions to the best of your ability” re-train the chatbot, and then ask it a math question it should be able to answer it accurately.

The point of this is to illustrate that the AI bot doesn’t know what it doesn’t know.

This is why it is very important to start by training the chatbot on your data and how you want it to interact with users so they have a better overall experience.

Step 4: Save your changes and proceed to the "Text Data" section.

Step 5: Add specific information in the "Text Data" section to help correct and modify the answers of your AI chatbot. This could be FAQs, product information, or service descriptions.

Step 6: Optionally, you can use the "Crawl Website & Fetch Data" feature to scrape relevant information from your website, further enriching your bot's knowledge base.

Fine-tuning your chatbot is an iterative process.

Monitor your bot's performance, take note of areas of improvement, and adjust your base system prompt as needed.

The more effectively you train your bot, the better it will perform in providing a tailored, engaging experience for your customers.
